in response to Clare... Yes, you are probably right, when it comes to something that offers assistance with helping someone making money online, it is almost always a scam to get money, .. which is sad but true. The two ways I am aware of to make money on the internet without paying out money yourself are by creating a blog (not an actual website with it's own domain name, as that requires a monthly fee) using various site's like that of Blogspot, then as a part of your webpage, creating an account with services like Google Adsense and Amazon and allowing them to serve ads which are usually related to the subject matter you've created on your blog site. With these ads you are then set up to generate income from both the visitors who view your site, and more specifically, any interest a visitor shows in those ads by way of the "clicks" on any one of the ads placed on your site. You then get a percentage of the money from that click. Amazon has a similar program, but focuses more directly on the product advertised. Therefore, if someone views an ad for a product, or does a search from your Amazon search box and then purchases the item they searched for, you get a percentage of the purchase amount. The income an individual may generate from these programs (and their blog pages) varies depending on the amount of time and energy a person spends creating the site/page, the number of postings they do, how they get traffic to their pages and how much traffic, etc. I've seen people make anywhere from $10 a year to thousands of dollars a month. Mind you, those who do make more have been working on their pages for a long time and put a lot of their own time and energy into them. The second way I am aware of generating money from the internet without paying out one's own money is thru signing up with various marketing and research companies online and doing online surveys, emails, etc. Between the two options I have detailed i would say that this way is a bit slower and more tedious, with less reward, .. although some people do spend a lot of time doing this type of thing and do end up generating some extra money for themselves. With that said, I would always suggest to keep moving when you come across something that asks for your credit card to proceed, as anything worth it's salt will not request money .. There are far too many scams out there to count, and people are only becoming more creative, and it's sad .. but unfortunately, it's the world we live in right now. So many people are struggling, so many are becoming increasingly desperate. Best of luck in your venture. Cat
